Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) essential oil brings that well-loved aroma to body care blends, perfumes, colognes, and air fresheners. It can also be used as a milder alternative to other camphoraceous oils in chest balms or breath diffusions.   Aura Cacia Organic Cardamom Essential Oil is sourced from a farmer cooperative in Guatemala. The seeds and pods are dried, then steam distilled to obtain the ideal essential oil.   What’s the difference between organic cardamom essential oil and conventional cardamom essential oil? Organic essential oils differ from conventional oils in that the botanicals from which they are derived are grown according to the USDA’s Organic Standards. Our manufacturing facility and all of our organic essential oils have also been certified organic by the established third-party certifier, Quality Assurance International (QAI).
