Frontier Co-op Organic Fair Trade Certified Chai Tea is a comforting flavored tea blend that offers a robust combination of black tea and spices. Traditional chai is a strong black tea best known for its delicious blend of herbs and spices that give it unique flavor. This tea is made from oxidized and fermented black tea leaves that are combined with spices such as cardamom, fresh ginger, black pepper, ground cloves, cinnamon and fennel.

Chai tea is great by itself, but it’s also a fantastic addition to lattes and spiced desserts. This is a tea with layers of complex and delicious flavors. Chai tea has an unforgettable flavor that pairs well with honey, steamed tea, and even creme brulee.

Black tea brewing basics: Put 1 tsp. of tea in strainer, then place in cup. Add 8 oz. near-boiling water and steep for 3-5 minutes. Feel free to adjust to your preference.
